No discrimination or “isms” of any kind (racism, sexism, etc).Discuss GamingĪll discussion must be about gaming 2. I'm still puzzled if he was sincere or just playing.DARK MODE NORMAL MODE Rules 1. I've let him go, despite knowing how hard it was for Lambert. The quest where Geralt and Lambert hunt down an ex-witcher.Makes me wonder if the 'best' ending was to take the bribe early on and leave. It will always be at least two death and the number can only grow. Whatever you chose, the werewolf guy - a very sympathetic person - had to die. I've also played it right after Falk isle storyline, which taught me that ghosts asking for help can actively lie to you. That choice just cemented the idea that you always had to sacrifice something to save something else. I know it's possible to save both children and Anna, but I learned much later and it's def not how the quest's supposed to be played. But it also means more death for people in the woods. I (and Geralt) was so fascinated with the idea that Woodland spirit DID help the villagers, so I decided to renew their bond. In the beginning, I've sided with Sven because he sounded more reasonable, but then I learned they're willing to kill all elders in the village. Whether you kill the spirit or not, people will die, people will suffer. There is just NO good ending and NO right thing to do. So by far, the hardest decisions for me were: I understand that it fits the overall thematic coherence of the game and moral ambiguity of the witcher world - and life in general. And never in my life I've killed a man so fast as I did with Whoreson Jr.).īut some choices left me so devastated because they seemingly had no okay outcome at all. Some decisions outright lead nowhere (I'm still taken aback with how it makes no difference if you>! let witch hunters to torture Triss or not!<), some are easy to make (I've rooted for Cerys from the get-go and wasn't too conflicted to spare the witcher from the Cat school. It's not excellent, but oftentimes, it's heavy. I haven't yet reached the ending\DLC content, yet I'm fairly impressed with decision-making in this game.
